I am here sitting in the computer lab, having done most of my studying for a stat exam that is coming up, and I can’t fathom the reason why we humans cannot just drop all the pretensions and relate as mere human beings. We sometimes always want the same things, but telling people what we want is difficult becaue we assume that that person is not going to give it to us. Or we assume that under the current circumstances it is impossible for anything to happen. Why are we like this? Why can’t we just be ourselves and relate as human beings without all the pretensions and baggage that the society has instilled in us?
We just need to meet each other, and set off like mere animals, socialize like animals. You see when animals meet each other, they willl start a subtle communication, and ofcourse they communicate without speaking, but they do not pretend, they communicate as they are. They do not have prejudices and prior judgments about other animals, they basically try to get it from the other animal what it is all about. But we humans, we have so much baggage and prejudices, that before we even start communicating we end up not meeting the other person in the manner that they would like to be met, but we end up making conclusions before we even start communicating. I hope that it will be possible for me to communicate to people what I really want them to do for me without them having any prejudices and conclusions before hand. hmm
